Whiley

Actor, Writer, Clown

Indeed, to cast a spell, is simply to spell, to manipulate words, to change people's consciousness. And I believe that this is why an artist or writer is the closest thing in the contemporary world that you are likely to see to a Shaman.

He went on to community theatre and the glamorous life of a living statue where he was praised for his stillness. He also won awards as Ariel from the Tempest and The Professor from Ionesoc's The Lesson. With no desire to stay in Perth (the beaches are lovely but...) he accepted the offer to study at Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore where he completed his BA hons Acting. He has since performed and studied all over the world from Singapore to Bali, Vancouver and now here in merry old Melbourne. He was a member of the award winning production The Maze at Fringe and most recently played The Soldier in The Theatre of Others online play Limb from Limb. He is currently learning guitar and likes to think he can sing and write a bit.
